She was predeceased by: her parents, David Levi Barnard and Madie Lou Griffis. She is survived by: her husband Alvin Barto Edge of Hazlehurst; her son Chad Shepherd of Hazlehurst; her brother Curtis Barnard (Judy) of Nichols; and her granddaughter Jenna Shepherd. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
