It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edward Rogers Jr. of Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Rogers Sr. and Hazel Grainger Rogers. He is survived by: his wife Mary Gantz Rogers of Hazlehurst; his sons, John E. Rogers III (Amy) of Hazlehurst and James A. Rogers (Anita) of Douglas; his brother Lee Roy Rogers (Roslyn) of Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Taylor Brooke Waters, Erin Disharoon, Adrianne Davis, Madison Davis and Dalton Rogers. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
