He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Morris and Ola Mae Gibson Morris; and his son Henry Lee Morris. He is survived by: his children, Joe Daniel Morris Jr. (Mellissa) of Hazlehurst and Tammy Lynn Morris of Hazlehurst; and his siblings, Carlos Morris (Luann) of Texas and Wanda Griggers (Joe) of Griffin. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
