It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Lott Rentz Jr. of Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joe Lott Rentz Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lott Rentz Sr. and Fodia Rain Cain Rentz; his wife Lurene Summerlin Rentz; and his son Mike Rentz. He is survived by: his children, Tony Rentz, Peggy Spell LeCours, Debra Rentz of Hazlehurst and Kathy Jolley. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
The Rentz Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
