Joann McNeal Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann McNeal of Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Onis Hughes and Vera Mae Sellers Hughes; her husband Julius McNeal; her siblings, Carlton Hughes, Edward Hughes and Essie Mae McNeal; and her brother-in-law Snooky Thornton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gail Thornton of Hazlehurst, Belinda Carter (Larry) of Hazlehurst and Fulton Hughes of Glenwood; and her sister-in-law Edna Hughes of Hazlehurst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
The McNeal Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
