We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 78, JoAnn Herndon of Hazlehurst, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of JoAnn Herndon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wolson Herndon and Grace Howard Herndon. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Wright Herndon (S. W.) of Hazlehurst; and her sons, Samuel Wright Herndon Jr. of Roberta, Tony Wright Herndon of Fort Valley and Duane Wright Herndon (Deborah) of Hazlehurst. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
The Herndon Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
