He was predeceased by: his parents, LonA Ray and Nina Mae Branch Ray; and his daughter Marcia Ray Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Kandess Sanders (Kelvin) of Hazlehurst and Steve Ray (Donna) of Hazlehurst; his siblings, Barbara Gruber (Charles) of Hazlehurst, Betty Swann (Dennis) of Rainbow City and Edward Ray (Kathy) of Key West; and his children-in-law, Stacey and Ann Hayes. He is also survived by five grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
