It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffery Gene Taylor of Hazlehurst, Georgia, born in Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Gene Taylor and Lynell Carter Taylor. He is survived by: his niece Brittany Perez; his great-nieces, Marissa, Olivia and Jozlyn Taylor of Hazlehurst; his siblings, Melissa Taylor of Moultrie, Rodney Taylor of Hazlehurst and Greg Carter Sr. (Lori) of Ocilla; and his nephew Greg Carter Jr.. He is also survived by four great-nieces and two great-nephews.
