It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jane Elder of Hazlehurst, Georgia, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Lindauer and Ruth Shiver Lindauer; and her brother Jack Lindauer. She is survived by: her husband Buck Elder of Hazlehurst; her daughter Jennifer Hufford (Peter Smith); her grandson Cole Hufford of Carmel, Indiana; her son Jonathan Elder (Erin); her grandchildren, Rosemary and Beau Elder of Brooklyn; and her sister Rosemary Brannen (Bill) of Valdosta.
