He was predeceased by: his parents, Lott Warren Brantley and Alice Herrington Brantley; and his siblings, Gertrude Collins, Ruby Lee Bland, Inez Flemming, Opal Ray, Lilly Maude Newham and L. W. Brantley.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Brantley of Hazlehurst; his daughters, Tammy (Glenn Kemp) and Jan (Rob Stone); his sister Ethel Mae Hutchenson of Waycross; and his grandchildren, Mary Katherine Kemp, Tricia Stone and Ethan Stone. He is also survived by his wife and grandkids.
