He is survived by: his children, Steve Mathis of Hazlehurst and Pat Mathis of Hazlehurst; his grandchildren, Nyle Mathis Ursrey of Hazlehurst, Sara Ursrey, Angie Taylor and Tonya Stone; his great grandchildren, Blayne, Evan Ursrey, Cassanda Dukes, Ty Taylor, Andria and Brandon Stone; and his great great grandchild Zaylee Dukes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
