It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Imogene Jackson (Hazlehurst, Georgia), born in Collins, Georgia, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Jackson and Laura M. Moore Jackson. She is survived by: her children, Preston Thornton of Hazlehurst, Dewitt Thornton of Hazlehurst, Jason Thornton of Lumber City, Laronda Carter of Hazlehurst, Stephanie Thompson of Pigeon Forge, TN and Angie Dubberly of Hazlehurst; her sister Margaret Bohannon of Hazlehurst; and her pet Gracie. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great grand children.
