He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Leon Prater Sr. and Dorothy Chriswell Prater (Erika Hartsfield Prater); and his sister Barbara Winston. He is survived by: his children, Dustin Prater, Nichole Thompson (Dracy), Stephanie LePage, Heather Crumpton (Keith) and Keilah Prater; and his grandchildren, Devarious, Dracy, D'Vonte, Shon, De'Andre, Dra'Cole, Zoe, Kayanna, Aurora, Devon and Hunter. He is also survived by one brother, eight sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
