She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Toler and Hattie Toler; her husband I. L. Dukes; her daughter Marie Taylor; her grandsons, James White and Charlie Dukes; and her siblings, Mary Cothren, Gurtis Conley, Carnell Bush, Doc Toler, Bill Toler, Lenard Toler and George Toler.
She is survived by: her sons, Aaron Dukes (Tammy) of Hazlehurst, Silas Dukes (Sheila) of Hazlehurst, Charles Dukes (Sandra) of Hazlehurst and Bobby Dukes (Pam) of Hazlehurst; and her sister Josephine Groover. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
