He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann Chavis Davis; his daughters, Bonnie Sue Hawkins of Hazlehurst, Freddie Ann Johnson of Hazlehurst and Marsha Gayle Carter of Hazlehurst; and his sisters, Elfrida Dyal of Baxley and Christine Shumans of Baxley. He was also cherished by Fourteen Grandchildren, Sixty One Great-Grandchildren, Three Great-Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
