It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Orvin Beck (Hazlehurst, Georgia), born in Appling, Georgia, who passed away on November 25, 2017, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexis Orvin and Ella Mae Orvin; her husband Clinton Beck; and her siblings, Buster, Frank, Sammy, Bob, Cecil Orvin, Geneva Simmons and Eleanor Vickory.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Atwell (Delyn) of Dothan Ala, Rhonda Brown (John) of McRae, James Beck (Sherry) and Larry Beck of Hazlehurst; and her sisters, Winnie Carter (Doug) of Atlanta and Willie Altman of Alma. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
