It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Phillips (Hazlehurst, Georgia), who passed away on June 8, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ethel Phillips to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Phillips; and her parents, Mamie Turner and James L. Turner (Doc). She is survived by: her daughters, Susan White (Jerry) of Hazlehurst and Patricia Larson of Athens. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
For those wishing to honor her life the family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church building fund window renovation project or to the Alzheimer's Association.
