He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mellie Tilley of Hazlehurst; his children, Lesa Morris (Jeff) of Surrency, Jonathan Tilley and David Selph of Ludowici; his stepchildren, Rhonda Thomas (Chad) and David Strenth (Emma) of Moore Haven, FL; and his brother Carl Stokes (Ann Ellison) of Darlington, SC. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
