He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Jimmy Kight; his wife Nancy Kight; his children, Don William Kight, Jr., Charlotte Custead (Oliver) and Christy Birkhahn (E. L.); his siblings, Wanda Hurley (Kenny), Arlene Kight and Johnny Kight; and his grandsons, Christian Kight, Jared Kight and Don William Birkhahn (Trey). He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
