He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Robert Hughes; his children, Melissa Rentz of Graham, Christy Whitley of Alma, Debra Ann Hughes of Baxley, Eric Hughes of Jacksonville, FL, Devin Hughes of Hazlehurst and Derek Hughes of Hazlehurst; and his siblings, Becky Parlor of Hazlehurst, Barbara Ann Pearce of Baxley, Loney Mae Rentz of Graham, Earl Hughes of Hazlehurst, Dearl Hughes of Hazlehurst and Billy Hughes of Dublin. He was also cherished by Ten Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
