David Chavis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Chavis (Hazlehurst, Georgia), who passed away on September 6, 2015 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Bass Chavis; and his siblings, Alice Parlor, Bonnie McLeod, Margaret Johnson, Mildred Moon, Joseph Chavis and James Chavis.
He is survived by: his daughter Myra Murphy; his son-in-law Wayne Murphy of Hazlehurst; his grandson Nash Murphy of Hazlehurst; and his brothers, Cecil Chavis of Hazlehurst and Richard Chavis of Uvalda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
