She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McLemore and Gertrude Osborne McLemore; her husband James Thomas Wood; her daughter Linda Dale Carroll; and her grandson Jimmy Wesley Robins.

She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Wood (Teresa) of Hazlehurst and Thomas Wood (Deborah) of Hazlehurst; and her close friend Gloria Hayes of Vidalia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
