With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Murphy of Hazlehurst, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carolyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Burl Ussery and Lois Walker Ussery (Leonard Edward Murphy). She is survived by: her son Doug Murphy (Carla) of Hazlehurst; her grandson Austin Murphy of Hazlehurst; and her great grandchild Brailyn Overstreet.
