He is survived by: his wife Amy Rebecca Kersey Hand of Hazlehurst; his daughters, Chrissy Simmons and Katie Simmons of Hazlehurst; and his siblings, Mae Hand of Hazlehurst, Rose Hand of Vienna, Loretta Harden of Warner Robins, Doffis Hand of Hazlehurst, Rex Hand of Vienna, Jack Hand of Hazlehurst and Jimbo Hand of Hazlehurst. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
