He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Bobbie Deen Johnson Dykes; his brother James Tracy Dykes; his wife Wanda Joyce Carter Dykes of Hazlehurst; his children, Chertara Brittany Setchell (Jordan) of Warner Robins, Cheryl Brandelle Mikel (Jamie) of Ellabelle and Anthony Craig Dykes of Pace; his father James Edwin Dykes; his sister Kimberly Dykes Carter (Robert) of Hazlehurst; his grandchildren, Kelsey Brianne Carter, Tommy James Mikel, Jr. and Trace Hampton Dykes; and his great grandchild Andrew Gonzalez. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
