It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew J. Mincey (Hazlehurst, Georgia), who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Mincey Sr. and Bertha Lee Pierce-Mincey. He is survived by: his wife Deaconess Reabie Mae Mincey; his sons, Edward Leon Mincey (Tomik) of Hazlehurst Georgia and Reverend Andrew Mincey III of Hogansville, Georgia; his siblings, Floyd Mincey (Georgia) of Hazlehurst, Ricky Mincey (Linda) of McRae, Georgia., Evangelist Carrie Lee Thomas (Deacon Reno) of Hazlehurst, Georgia. and Gloria Jean Hargrove (David) of Hazlehurst, Georgia.; and his sisters-in-law, Ellawese Mincey of Arcadia, Louisiana, Odessa Hall, Lovanna Griffin (Robert) and Ollie Mae Harris of Hazlehurst. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
