She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Horne and Dora Smith Horne; her husband Gene Purvis; and her son Terry Cheek. She is survived by: her sons, Walter Cheek of Hawkinsville and Jimmy Cheek of Hawkinsville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
