It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sallie Holder Calhoun (Hawkinsville, Georgia), born in Pulaski, Georgia, who passed away on June 27, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Sammie Eugene Calhoun; and her son Sammie Alton Calhoun. She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Langford (Covie) of Pinehurst and Brenda Calhoun Hightower of Lizella; and her daughter-in-law Patty Calhoun of Pineview. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted, but donations may be made to the American Cancer Society Research Fund.
