He was predeceased by: his parents, William D. "Bill" and Marilyn B. Pope; his uncle Col. James Pope; and his aunt Eleanor Pope. He is survived by: his wife Genelle "Puns" Lawler Pope; his siblings, Sally Pohler (Mike) of Tallahassee, FL and Billy Pope (Valerie) of Shawnee; his aunts, Annette Pope Smith of Macon, GA. and Martha Pope Hunnicut of Macon, GA.; his siblings-in-law, Trish Jones (John) of Ray City, GA, Linda Clark (Gary) of Lakeland, FL and Terry Lawler (Gail) of Greensboro, GA; and his friend Sandy Richardson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
