He was predeceased by: his wife Georgia Mixon; and his grandson Chad Purser. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Brown (Tharin) of Hawkinsville and Angie Coody (Mark) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Kelsey Brown of Atlanta, Kristen Giddens of Macon, Kaitlin Giddens of Athens and Kalab Giddens of Dublin; and his brothers, Carroll Mixon (Wanda) of Abbeville and David Mixon.
