He was predeceased by: his parents, James Butler and Annie Louise Peavy Goodroe; his wife Nancy White Goodroe; his brother Willie Joe Goodroe; and his son J. H. Goodroe (Goodroe).
He is survived by: his children, Randy Allen Goodroe (Jamie), Paula Goodroe Nixon (Jeff), Leigh Ann Evans and Tracey Cobb; his brothers, Walter Roy Goodroe (Marilyn) and John Robert Goodroe (Debra McWhorter); and his daughter-in-law Paulette Quick Goodroe. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
