He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Clarence and Vesta Elizabeth Payton Kilgore; his wife Joan Dale Burns Kilgore; his brothers, Clarence David Kilgore and Jim Darrell Kilgore; and his sister-in-law Gladys Elaine Roberts Kilgore.
He is survived by: his son Troy L. Meeks (Allison) of Hawkinsville; his brother Danny L. Kilgore; his nephews, David Mark Kilgore and Max Danton Kilgore; his niece Danielle Lynn Hedden; his grandsons, Mathew Tyler Meeks and Tanner Lee Meeks; and his sister-in-law Laverne Richardson Kilgore.
