With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Layson Sirmons of Hawkinsville, Georgia, born in Eatonton, Georgia, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace "Gus" Layson and Allie Gearhart Layson; her husband Lawton Sirmons; her brothers, H. A. Layson, Van Layson, Wink Layson, Webb Layson and Frank Layson; and her grandsons, Clay Hogg and Hogg.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Sirmons, Debbie Savant (Cliff) and Dee Monroe (Mark); and her siblings, Addison Layson (Connie) and Janie Little (Winford). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
