He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bembry Smith and Dixey Andrews Smith. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Coleman Smith; his children, Russell Andrews Smith, Amanda Bembry Smith, David Coy Harpe (Alisha Harpe), Leila Carol Harpe and Kenzie Harpe Mashburn (Tate Mashburn); and his siblings, Scott Havens Smith, Lindsay Nell Smith and Lani Smith Lawrence. He is also survived by 7 grandkids, 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
