It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Keith Carter of Hawkinsville, Georgia, born in Hazlehurst, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Johnnie Carter; and his grandparents, Thelma, Robert Carter, Lilly Mae and Aaron Bart Hester.

He is survived by: his wife Joy Carter of Hawkinsville; his son Daniel Carter (Ansley) of Yulee, Florida; his grandchildren, Braxton Carter and Rylan Carter; his mother Dannie Savant of Visalia, California; and his siblings, Gerald Carter (Sandra) of Visalia, California, Sharon Pilkinton (Jeff) of Harrisburg and Angie Barrentine (David) of Cochran.
