She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley J. Verner and Hattie Neal Smith Verner; and her siblings, Annie Sylvia Verner, Monteen Verner, Blanche Vaughn, Mary Lou Banks, Guynell Elrod, Wade Verner and Garvin Verner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
