He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland F. Jones and Margie Rice Jones; his wife Virginia Caudell Jones; his son Gregory Wade Jones; his grandsons, Kenneth Wade Jones and Jeffery Keith Jones Jr.; and his son-in-law Lance Roland.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Jones (Jill) of Bowersville, Vickie Apicella of Ormond Beach, FL and Janet Roland of Gainesville; his sister Hilda Waters of Gloverville, SC; and his grandchildren, Thurston Vickery, Austin Vickery (Lacey), Brennan Vickery, Hunter Jones (Mollie), Katherine Halliday (Sean), Jaren Halliday, Mason Roland, Luke Apicella and Grace Roland. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
