He was predeceased by: his father Roy Kay; and his sisters, JoAnn Skelton and Marybeth King. He is survived by: his wife Jane Kay; his children, Brian Kay (Angela) and Kim Vickery (Reggie); and his grandchildren, Briana Faith Kay, Mackenzie Kay Vickery (Reese Traver) and Maggie Ruth Vickery.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Sardis Baptist Church or TJ & Friends Foundation in Elberton, GA.
