He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Carruth; his grandparents, Clarence and Linnie Alewine; his son Keston Alewine; and his siblings, Anthony Alewine and Kim Vickery.

He is survived by: his father Wade Alewine; his daughter Tia Alewine (Jonathon Alewine); his grandsons, Patrick Alewine, Eli Alewine and Waylon Alewine; his great grandchild Kingston Alewine; his brother-in-law Ricky Vickery; and his nephew Christopher Alewine.
