With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Callis Callaway (Hartwell, Georgia), born in Boydton, Virginia, who passed away on October 5, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edger H. Thompson and Annie May Steele Thompson; and her husbands, Garland Laster Callis and William "Bill" Callaway. She is survived by: her children, Mark Callis, Linda Buckley, Bob Tomlin of Sacramento, CA and Elaine Tomlin. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
