It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Brown of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, JD Brown and Lammie Brown; his sons, Jerome and Keith Brown; and his brothers, George Winkfield, Thomas Winkfield, Lynn Winkfield, William Brown and Jerry Brown.
He is survived by: his friend Gloria R. Oglesby; his children, Bridget Brown-Strughill, Yvonne Teasley, Johnny Heard, Patrice Smith (Tyrone), Destiny Brown, Kayonna Martin (Joseph), Kendrea Thomas, Jolisa Montgomery, Fredricus Oglesby, Tylesha and Tyajia Clark; and his siblings, Joe Brown, Sarah Walker, Sue Gaines and Charlotte Williams. He is also survived by 31 Grandkids, 32 Great grand Kids and 1 Great great grandchild.
