He is survived by: his wife Lynn Rowland Carey; his children, Matthew Carey of Bowman, Zack Carey of Bowman and Lisa Carey of Royston; his siblings, Curtis Carey of Royston, Gene Carey of Royston, Darrell Carey of Royston, Forrest Carey of Royston, Twyna Carey of Royston and Vickie York of Hartwell; his grandsons, Landon Carey, Matt Carey and Grayson Fowler; and his sister Yvette Carey.
