He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul M. Brooks and Hazel Stroupe Brooks; and his siblings, Mitty Brooks and Brenda Holcomb. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Brooks; his sons, Lane Brooks of Hartwell and Tracy Brooks (Jinelle) of Hartwell; his siblings, George Brooks (Paula) and Gail Brooks; and his grandchildren, Reece Brooks and Bailee Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Reed Creek Baptist Church, 116 Boleman Hill Road, Hartwell GA 30643.
