He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton R. Leicht and Iva M. Leicht; and his wife Love Scarborough Leicht. He is survived by: his children, Robert W. Leicht (Suzanne) of Evans, GA, Bruce S. Leicht (Bonnie) of Macon, GA and Amy L. Seamans (Gary) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, Mary Charlotte Leicht, Robert W. Leicht, Jr., Ted Seamans, Jack Seamans, Sophie Leicht, Rabun Leicht and Eliza Leicht; and his sister Judith L. Lee of Maitland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Howell Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
