He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Smith Barnard; and his children, Donald K. Barnard (Angela) of St. Simons, GA, Sean K. Barnard (Kelly) of Hartwell and Tammy Piper (Jay) of Hartwell. He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren and Ten great-grandchildren.
