With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Cheston (Hartwell, Georgia), who passed away on September 9, 2018 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cheston Phillips Sr. and Edith Rutherford Phillips Kaminski; his sister Sue Anne Phillips Weisenfels; and his son-in-law Jeff Evans. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Lynn Murphy Phillips; his children, Tracy Phillips Evans (Jeff), Kim Phillips Lyons (Andrew) and LeeAnne Phillips Minnick (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Evans, Michael Evans (Brittany), Mark Evans, Laura Beth Evans, Christopher Lyons and Greyson Lyons; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Renner, Megan Renner, Phillip Evans and Ruby Grace Evans.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell Ga 30643.
