It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Schaefer Hohman of Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Schaefer and Nora Elizabeth Moledor Schaefer; and her brother Denny Schaefer. She is survived by: her husband Donald T. Hohman; her children, Ronald L. Hohman (Laura) of Claremont, KY and Donna Marie Hohman (Ward Fairbee) of Columbus, OH; her siblings, Dan Schaefer (Lynn) of Rootstown, OH, Rosellen S. Farnworth (Tom) of Hartville, OH and Mary S. Wells (Charlie) of Hartville, OH; her grandsons, Philipp Hohman (Missy) and Matthew Hohman (Erika); and her great grandchildren, Brogan, Bentley and Skylar Hohman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ladies Circle of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
