He was predeceased by: his parent R. C. Brake; and his wife Judy Crump Britt. He is survived by: his mother Callie Turpin Smith of Hartwell; his son Richard Warren "Richey" Britt of Hartwell; his stepdaughter Amanda Ayers (Steve) of Canon; his sister Debbie Jordan (Lee) of Carnesville; and his grandchildren, Kaylee, Ryder and Brantley.
