He was predeceased by: his parents, Cullen Bailey and Ruth Griffin Bailey; his siblings, Kenneth, Thomas Bailey and Faye Bailey; and his grandson Joshua Ray Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Wooten Bailey; and his children, Donnie Bailey (Linda) of Hartwell, Ronnie Bailey (Diane) of Hartwell and Kathy Moorhead (Ralph Burdette) of Hartwell. He is also survived by Six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
