He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Hall Hulme and Julius M. Hulme; his sister Minda Butler; and his brother-in-law Olin Johnson Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gale Dugas Hulme; his sons, Scott (Megan) and Taylor (Ashley); his sister Annette Hulme Johnson; his brother-in-law Leon Butler; and his nieces and nephews, Steven Lee Johnson, Alan Johnson (Allison), Rich Butler (Cathy), David Butler (Joann), Renee Curry (Robert), Diane Berninger (Gregg), Julie Telford (Gordon), Susan Brody (Ofer) and Stacey Butler Haferl (Bob).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hart County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 146, Hartwell GA 30643.
